Executive Director

The OCP Board of Directors is seeking qualified candidate to lead in the management of Old Colony Players as Executive Director.

RESPONSIBLE TO: OLD COLONY PLAYERS BOARD OF DIRECTORS

PURPOSE: To provide strong leadership that results in a successful performing arts program which provides high quality performances and training for performing arts students. 

COMPENSATION: $40,000 Annually – Additional income incentives available
Paid on the 15th & last day of each month 

Skills necessary for the position(s):

• Be a self-starter
• Good communication skills
• Good community relation skills and participation
• Be good at promoting OCP’s plays and mission.

Administrative skills:

• Have knowledge and experience with non-profits
• To be aggressive in seeking out grants and be willing to learn grant writing techniques and skills
• To have verifiable business and financial skills
• Have good personnel management skills allowing for good interaction with other employees and board members.
• Have creative, innovative and solid fundraising skills
• Be knowledgeable in the various online presence programs and to keep them fresh and compelling.
• To coordinate and ensure development of volunteers and committees of OCP.
